I am new to this list and I am using Son of Gridengine for two or three weeks now. I am working in a rather small company which is focussing on bioinformatics and we are using Rocks-Cluster (http://www.rocksclusters.org) for our production and development clusters. Rocks-Cluster is delivered with OGE6.2U5. But we now want to be more up to date and decided to move to Son of Gridengine. We are now running into a rather small problem regarding qacct. When invoking 'qacct' in OGE6.2 the result was showing the ru_* timestamps in milliseconds and the resource consumptions in bytes When invoking 'qacct' in Son of Gridengine 8.1.8 the result is showing the ru_* timestamps in seconds and the resource consumptions in MB/GB Also the cpu, mem and io was shown in milliseconds or bytes I have tried to change it via 'qconf -mconf global', but there is no config switch for it :-( Is there a way to change this in SGE 8.1.8 via a config file? If not, is there a plan to provide such a method? Hope you can help me. Best Regards, Tim.
