Ron,

I use STN with AT&T Cable Modem (formerly Mediaone) with great success.

I've set STN up with other AT&T cable, ISDN and 56K dialup, all with great
success.

With Cable modem, you'll need two NIC's in your STN box and need to
configure STN accordingly.

Just Do It! (as Nike would say), you'll be thrilled with the results.
