I have two Macs and several PC's behind STN. Works fine. I use DHCP, but I
have also used static IP addresses as well. I don't use Dave or PCMacLan,
but I don't see where it would matter, as those programs don't talk to the
firewall, they talk directly peer to peer using the Windows networking
protocol.
