I wish I could offer help. As someone who also uses a Mac in my
environment, Identd support is even worse under STN. I have talked to the
author of my IRC app numerous times and he swears that he is adhering to
standards properly and that MIRC is somewhat of a hack when it comes to
identd. Maybe one of these days, STN will offer a more complete platform
independent solution in this regard. Otherwise, it has been a fantastic
product.
