thanks for the reply, apparently oidentd (http://ojnk.sourceforge.net/)
it's better unix deamon for irc ident.
recently i'have configured a tiny distribution of linux with it, my
connection on irc worked perfectly.
perhaps one day , oidentd will be integrated on STN ???
