Jon,

Is the subnet mask on your Win98 tcp/ip settings set to 255.255.255.0
(since you are using dedicated IPs you need to set the Subnet and that
should be the same as STN or change STN to that subnet that you are using)

I would also change the STN IP address to 192.168.100.1 as that may keep
things on the same ring or can you change your Win98 workstation to
192.168.0.xx? This may not be necessary, I don't know for sure. It is
just what I do.

Are you sure that the STN ne2000 card is being detected by STN? I have two
NICs (for cable internet) so, when I boot STN I see:

Starting S01nic...
ne.c:v1.10 9/23/94 Donald Becker ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
NE*000 ethercard probe at 0x340: 00 80 c8 2a 6d a1
eth0: NE2000 found at 0x340, using IRQ 11.
eth1: 3c509 at 0x300 tag 1, 10baseT port, address 00 20 af 6a ad 4f, IRQ
10.
3c509.c:1.16 2/3/98 [EMAIL PROTECTED]

If you don't get the eth0 then your internal NIC is not being recognized.
