Unfortunately no. I've tried patching the 2.0.36 kernel, but kept getting
errors near the end of the compile process. I haven't been able to figure
out what I am missing yet. I did get the 2.0.38 kernel configured and then
properly compiled (I thought). When I replace the STN bzimage file with the
new kernel, it acts like it is going to work. The system boots, loads
initrd, loads the kernel, goes through some of the boot up process. Then
when it tries to mount the ram disk (I think), I get the following error
"Kernel Panic: VFS: unable to mount root FS on 01:00". I know I configured
it for initrd and ram disk support, I just don't know where to look from
here. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Rod,

Did you get any responses to your request? I too am trying to get this
working. I posted a message a day or so before yours concerning ipsec with
the Bay Networks Extranet Client. But, received no replies. I also sent a
request in to John L via the [EMAIL PROTECTED] address, but no
responses as of yet. Hopefully John is working on a solution to IPsec.

I was able to get IPSEC running using Redhat 6.0 as the firewall with the
kernel patch that you mentioned. So we know that it can be done. Oh well,
I just thought I would check to see if you had any success finding a patch
STN kernel.

Thanks!

Ron
