Forgive me if this has been raised a thousand times (though I searched the
archives without success).
I'm trying STN with two ISPs (dialup modem). One works fine and the other
doesn't. A friend reckons that it's because the second ISP uses PAP
authentication instead of CHAT. Does this sound right? From what I've read
STN supports PAP, but the errors I'm getting are consistent with other
articles on the net about linux users having problems with PAP.
What do I need to do to get PAP working? I can provide details, but I'm
hoping there's a well known one liner fix for this.
Thanks,
Rory White
