I have my STN box doing DHCP with my ISP....it has problems when they change
my IP address. All that happens, is suddenly I can't access the
internet...so I kill and restart dhcpcd to find out what new IP address I'll
get. The thing about new IP address, is that its always a completely
different address. 24.x.x.x, 224.x.x.x, 65.x.x.x..... Then there are the
times that the cable company's DHCP server goes down. Sometimes I just hit
the reset button on the STN box. Though that doesn't always work, since
sometimes I have run dhcpcd a couple times before it'll get a lease.
Somehow the client seems stubborn about wanting to stay in the same network
block with it renews....
