I have a strange problem. I have read more than once that it should be
possible to write protect the floppy (to prevent "intruders" from changing
the configuration files etc) but when I try this STN do not boot properly
claiming that there is no configuration files!

If I boot without write protect and then take out the diskette, protect it
and set it back STN will fail later (kernel panic, illegal sector or
something like that).

I have also noticed that STN seem to access the floppy (I do not know if it
is read or write) every time a DHCP request is received from my internal
network - this is also a surprise since I thought STN run only versus
RAM-disk once it had booted.

Any sugestions?

Regards
Magnus
