OK, Here's my contribution to the "Stupid Question of the Month" club:

I just picked up a bunch of new 100-Base-t NIC's (SOHOware Auto 10/100
Ethernet PCI Card - Model SFA110A)

Pretty darn good cards - and cheap too!

Fortunately, they support Linux
Part of what they give you is a "revised" tulip.c source file to compile
for your version of Linux. They alledge that the "stock" tulip driver
does not work - and I have proved this to be true, both with both RH 7.0
and STN. They give detailed instructions on how to re-compile the
driver, etc. etc. etc. When the smoke clears, you should be set to go.

I would also like to do this for STN, so that I can use these cards with
my STN gateway..... Is this possible? How? (and so forth)

Thanks!

Jim
