Disconnect the STN box from the network, then wait the time-out
period. If it hangs up, then a machine on your internal network is sending
traffic that you don't know about. If it does not hang up, then your ISP
is sending you traffic. Some ISPs leak packets that they shouldn't (RIP
packets, etc). STN will reset the timer for ANY traffic -- even if that
traffic is dropped.
