Dear Sharity Users,
we have reveived reports that the Sharity GUI application may crash when it
is automatically started on Mac OS X. This has been tracked down to an
exception on one of Apple's frameworks. Since an exception does not trigger
the crash-log, we don't know where to start looking for a fix.
We have therefore created a debug version of Sharity.app which catches the
exception and creates a hard crash to trigger the crash log. If you
experience the troubles described above, please download our debug version
and enable crash logs in Console.app. When Sharity crashes, Console.app will
be started and open a window with a backtrace of the crash. That's what we
need for debugging.
The debug version can be downloaded from

in the Mac OS X section "Other files".
Please note that this is only for people who experience the crash during
automatic start of the application!
