The first message is simple: messages of class [16] are for informational
purposes only. You can disable them with the 'smbConnect' log level in the
file /usr/local/sharity/etc/sharity.cfg, if you don't like them.

The other message is more servere. It means that Sharity did not find a
browse server in your local subnet. In order to show a list of servers
nevertheless, it connects to the domain controller. For one, this is not
good habit, and second you may see delays of up to 20 seconds while Sharity
tries to find a browse server in your local subnet.

Browse servers are determined dynamically and automatically among Windows
and other CIFS machines. You need at least one correctly configured Windows
or Samba machine in your subnet to avoid this problem.
