Dear Sharity Users,
we have released Sharity 3 beta 5 today. This version fixes numerous
bugs in the Kerberos integration and Distributed File System (DFS)
automounting. In addition, we support SGI/IRIX and OpenBSD now.
This beta comes with a free license which expires on 2005-08-28.
We encourage everyone who is planning to upgrade to Sharity 3 sooner or
later to try the binary before we do a feature freeze. Suggestions and
feature requests are still welcome. Sharity 3 can coexist with your
current Sharity 2 installation. You can decide which version of Sharity
you use for each mount. See the Reamde file for more information.

This beta is currently available for Solaris (Sparc and Intel), HP-UX
11, IRIX, Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and Mac OS X. If you want to
(seriously) test on an other platform, please drop us a note.
