Dear Sharity Users,
we have released Sharity 3 beta 6 today. It comes with a free license
which expires on 2005-09-27.
This version fixes the following bugs:
- Deadlock when mounting from GUI
- Connecting to NetApp filers (SHOULD be fixed)
- Relative paths for "sharity acl" commands
- "sharity acl get" failed with Samba 3.0
- Login on SOME servers with extended security failed
- Limit the number of open file descriptors to a maximum
- Numerous other fixes
Binaries are now available for the following platforms:
- Solaris (Sparc and Intel)
- HP-UX 11
- AIX
- IRIX
- FreeBSD
- OpenBSD
- Linux
- Mac OS X 10.4 (not officially supported)
