I'm getting ready to tear down my '85 Konvertible for the 5-speed conversion. It also has a pretty bad PS leak, which will most likely turn out to be the steering rack. Since I'm going to drop the K-frame to swap it out to get the bobble strut mount anyway, might as well freshen up the steering.
If I replace it, what are my source options for the "firm feel" rack? Can I get a reman at the parts store?
