all,
in the process of running through a bunch of tinyos pre-release tests
(don't worry, we don't use releases), i made a surprise discovery that
the shimmer family was *not* represented in the tosthreads subtree
(ancient failure to commit? i dunno.).
anyway, i fixed this and checked it all in. for those of you who want
to play with -- or need? -- threads in a tinyos app, have at it.
examples are in tinyos-main/apps/tosthreads/apps.
in other news, a few bugfixes will flash by you in the shimmer* platform
branches in preparation for use of the new compiler toolchain, which has
undergone extensive testing here in the torture chamber and is just
about ready to go.
anyway, you know you're overdue:
cd ~/tinyos-main
svn update
and of course, while you're at it:
cd ~/tinyos-2.x-contrib/shimmer
cvs update -dP
