hi.
the bluetooth interface provides two connection-state events to an
application, connectionMade and connectionClosed.
managing the particulars of these two states is up to the application,
and whether it operates the bluetooth module in slave (laptop controls
the connection) or master (shimmer controls the connection) mode.
