Hi steve, Thanks for your quick response! But once the Shimmer leaves the line of sight (10m) it will automatically close the connection, or not?
Do you know whether the following scenario might work? - Set up BT-connection between PC and Shimmer manually. - Shimmer starts moving through the area (+- 50 by 50 m). - Shimmer sends a request to the PC through BT every minute. - If the application on the PC receives this request (so Shimmer is in range of PC), it will send an acknowledge-command to the Shimmer. - When ack. is received Shimmer will dump the data to the PC. (led will blink as long as data needs to be transmitted) - When data is sent, Shimmer sents indication to PC and dumps the data on its own SD-card.
