Kind of thought google alpha might mean production for some of us.
Is it in a maven repo somewhere ?

It's called alpha but that is just Google being Google (at least
gmail isn't
beta anymore). Just so you know, we use all of the code internally

I don't know too much about the apache libraries but I know that it is
completely separate and fulfills some different but overlapping needs.
(That's at least what their faq says :)
We can probably get by without it if we choose too, I think its
more of a
preference.
Oh, and they of course don't collide because the google stuff is
under the
com.google package.
