Harry, This is very useful information. I'm still a bit new to Guice, so if you could explain it a bit more how/where that gets plugged in, it would be helpful. For example, you seem to create the ShindigIntegratorGuiceModule in step 2 (the name's implied) and then register this in step 3. What's not clear is if the module definition should go in the same package as the java classes et. These are probably silly questions that illustrate how little I know about Guice, but providing more clarity here would help.
That said, your article has been very helpful. BTW... I combined your link with Dave's architecture link on the shindig wiki. Maybe you and Dave (who posted the architecture on his blog) would consider moving your post sthere so people could iterate on it. Here's the link I created. http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SHINDIG/Index#Index-HowcanIprovidemyownimplementationofthedataservices%3F Thanks!!! -Mark W. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Mark Weitzel | STSM | IBM Software Group | (919) 543 0625 | [email protected] From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Date: 12/18/2008 07:37 AM Subject: Sample implementation for data interfaces Hello, experimenting with Shindig I have made another sample implementation for the data interfaces. The how to for implementing this can be read here: http://knol.google.com/k/harry-hbner/how-to-provide-your-own-implementation/jeb9aupq4ecp/1# The source is not already attached to the document. I have to do this in a next step. Feedback is welcome. Harry Jetzt komfortabel bei Arcor-Digital TV einsteigen: Mehr Happy Ends, mehr Herzschmerz, mehr Fernsehen!
