Harry, I would think the best place for the code would be in the Shindig SVN. This might allow your example to become more integrated with shindig as it matures. You could submit it as an attachment to a jira for a new example. Of course, one of the committers on the project would have to review it and then check it in.
An alternate approach would be to attach a zip to the page on the wiki.
