Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Mazda all have production facilities in the US and use UAW workers. Ford, GM, and DaimlerChrysler have assembly facilities in Canada and Mexico. The various arms of Ford and GM sell cars assembled in Mexico, Canada, Germany, and Britain. All these manufacturers use parts partially or totally manufactured and/or assembled in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Korea, the UK, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Malaysia, Indonesia, and probably a bunch more places I've forgotten or never even knew.

Now, tell me again, which of these is the foreign car we're supposed to supply with domestic oil?

ObGolf: It's too damned cold to play here, but I'm heading for the coast next weekend and will play a couple of Alabama's finest then -- Magnolia Grove in Mobile, and The Woodlands in Gulf Shores.
