I hate the PF 75's! I spined and freq'd a full set - 2 iron - lob, including gap. I set them up the way I normally do clubs for myself. I started with the 5 iron and one extra shaft to find a comfortable flex. I ended up at 288 cpm, spine at 12:00. So I built the set with a 4 cpm slope except for the wedges and set out for the course. The clubs now reside in the dark. I got really crappy ball flight - low and short, and terrible "feel." I went back to steel.

BTW: heads are/were forged Dynacraft  peripheral weighted, adjusted to a 7 gram difference between heads, grips standard Tour Velvet. And I inserted home-made "sensicores" in all. I guess the PF's simply aren't for me.

Of all the graphites I've used in irons, I like Precision Composite's Mach 22's. Good price and consistently good quality. However I must say when I ordered them I got more than I needed just to make sure there weren't any significant "outliers."

I haven't used the SK's.

Subject: ShopTalk: sk fiber tri tec iron shafts

Hi Jent's
Im going to try out a new set of irons and am having trouble deciding between shafts, the two I've narrowed it down to are the UST pro force 75's and the SK fiber tri tec's. Any experience or comments on either of these would be appreciated.
