I was in Bisbee a few years ago (1998) looking to buy the Copper City Brewing Company (I think that's what it was called) in the Phelps-Dodge building. My financing fell through so it didn't happen. Is the business still going? I saw a couple of years after I looked at it that it was for sale again for a much higher price.. T
It's still going strong. Haven't been there for a few years but the last time I was there they were just getting the micro brewery up and running. That building is one of Del Webb's early efforts and a good example of art deco. We've only got one grocery store but we have two micro breweries.
