Subject: Re: ShopTalk: Hireko Components

I'm new to the clubmaking business so I have limited experience with the different vendors that are out there.  I've been buying primarily from GS, GW and TWG.  I have done some business with Hireko and I'm satisfied with their promptness in filling orders and I will soon find out about their product quality.  I'm building a lady's set for a woman who wants to improve her game with custom clubs but doesn't have a lot of money to spend.  Hireko seemed to have what she needed for the right price.  If the snow ever goes away and the temps get about 50 higher than they are now we'll get out and try the clubs out.  I'll keep you posted.....T

Subject: ShopTalk: Hireko Components

Jents,

I used Hireko many years ago, while in Japan, but wasn't that impressed with them. Mainly because they were just too "clonish" in the dress of their components.  However, I just received this year's catalog and must admit that I am impressed with their offerings.  Can anyone speak to their quality as of late?

TIA,

Cub
