I have always used a short putter, 31 ", but the addition of the extra weight has been the one of the best improvements of my game since I started playing six years ago.

After reading the comments of several members I added weight to two different style putters, 6 oz to one and 5 oz to the other one. The first I have always liked but had problems with accuracy and the other was always coming up short but always on line. Now both are hitting what I aim at. If I miss read I am off, otherwise it is in the hole.

Like you CB, I believe it is the weight that has slowed my swing down which has given me better accuracy and now there is heavier contact for distance. I now have to make the decision as to which club I want to stay in the bag.

Where is it okay to be teed off, tote a six-iron, shoot birdies, and if you're under par it's a great day?
