Now that there seems to be some agreement that slope is important and veries from player to player, how is everyone determining a players slope?

The first evaluation I make is the talent level in front of me. Once I have a firm opinion I then open the discussion of what the player likes to with his wedges or more specifically what types of shots he generally plays with them. Then depending on the feedback and the slope I have determined, I will then either let the head weights take the slope where it wants to go or continue on the projected slope or flat line the wedges. After the wedges are built we will adjust lofts, lies and bounce accordingly
