Ken,
Ahh, Chris's just kidding. Lots of seniors here. I'm 70, a hobbyist
clubmaker just like you and 10 years ago I didn't know much about component
clubmaking either. Learned how to build clubs by reading catalog tutorials
(there's enough in Golfsmith's free catalog to do your grandkids clubs) and
reading e-mails here. Started building long drivers to get more distance and
took my handicap back down from 9 to 2 at age 65. Stick around, there're a
bunch of good clubmakers here if you want to try building clubs. If you want
instructions, just ask and you'll get plenty of help. You might also take a
look at the FGI clubmaking forum, which has a much larger group of DIY
hobbyists. Clubmaker Online is also a sponsor there.

Why would you say such? I subscribed only to 'see' about making
clubs for my grandchildren. I find I am not up to it. I am
receiving a flood of e mails and merely want to back out of ShopTalk.
But when I try to follow the instructions from Majordomo, they fail. I
try the "unsubscribe" directive , and it doesn't work. I made a
mistake. I am a senior. I shouldn't be censored for that, should
I?
Yeah, and we wouldn't want to broaden our horizons now would
we?? LOL!!

Thanks.
I have not had any break, but they seem to come loose where the
epoxy is. I've had to re-epoxy several.

Has anyone had any trouble with the new
club connectors breaking? I just used one in a Wishon 715 CLC
head and it lasted approx. 11 hits.
