Thanks Andre The problem is that Golfworks does not list a graphite shaft replacement for the Titleist Graphite 3970 shaft, the TX-90 is a steel shaft. All Golfworks says is the 3970 was made by Aldila and weights 68 grams. I used to be able to use the Apache 40+ Taper, however they have quit making any taper iron shafts. The only 2 options I know of is the Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue- - 65-75 mph 3.0 torque, high Traj. 81 grams, $30 or the Graphite Design Tour AD- - 70-80mph, 2.4 Torque, mid Traj, 88 grams. $70 . Both are quite a bit heavier then the Titleist shaft. I was hopping someone would have a better suggestion for a closer fit. George Huson ByGeorge Custom Clubs

Shaft is a R flex and has "3970" on the shaft. Shaft is gray in color. Customer would like me to match shaft as close as possible. Is this a tapered head? Anyone know what the shaft repalcement would be? Thanks, George Huson ByGeorge Custom Clubs --------------------------------- No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
