Having a local First Tee doesn't guarantee giving them away.

Less than a year ago, First Tee established a new chapter in my town. Not another chapter within a county or so, and this one was brand new. I felt sure they would need equipment. They accepted a few bags of balls in the Spring, but last Fall said they had enough and wouldn't accept any more. They never accepted any of the offered clubs either. They have a local clubmaker as a volunteer, and he is the gatekeeper for clubs. I don't know what his criteria are. Actually, it's a guy I never heard of, so I don't know if he's any good; I know many of the local clubmakers, but not this one.
