Thanks for that info. I'll look into it next time I purge my basement.

When I dump my used equipment including demos, I usually donate them to a
Junior High school or Middle school. They have always been very happy to get
the equip. no matter how scruffy it is. I believe the schools actually give
students the clubs to keep. You might try it and get a letter confirming the
donation from the school for tax purposes.

When I shut down and moved north, I gave Long Beach (CA) Junior Golf about a
hundred clubs a dozen bags, shoes, pull carts, balls and other stuff. Most
was used or demo stuff. They were glad to get it.

I wish when I was a kid with no money, caddying for a buck and a quarter per
loop, that I could have gotten any kind of clubs for free. All I had was a
ratty, hickory shafted, wooden head, no insert, electrician's tape grip
brassie. And I was damn glad to have it.

Something's wrong with whatever system First Tee is operating under, but
I'll flat guarantee ya, that a kid with zero wherewithall would be thrilled
with a used set-up.

Curmudgeonly yours;

The First Tee is not a given. I had several clubs and components that I
wanted to donate here in Atlanta. They basically said, "if they aren't new,
no thanks."
