The complete tool is $5.99 hardly enough of a savings to drive to different stores to find the components.
Amazon link to gel is 2 oz vs. 16 oz from Golfworks, so for a few dollars extra might as well get 8X's more. My buddy was placing an order with Golfworks, so he added the kit and gel, so I should have by end of week. Thanks guys for the recommendations . The heat gel - a good plumbing supply outlet (not the same as hardware store it's for pro plumbers) Now the problem part of the tool but there is a solution! Get a large LONG nut. From the long length you sand or grind one end to a taper. Secure the nut on a screw all the way to the head so it is easier to hold the nut against the belt of your belt sander! The purpose of this part is to center the tool in the adapter. A similar piece is used in the initial ball seating tool used by black powder shooters. Maybe you could get the tool part at a shooter's store ? Purchasing the parts from suppliers as those above will save a bunch of $ compared to golf specific suppliers.
