Hi Tom and list, is performance really such a PITA? I have maybe 50 shorewall installations in the wild. From simple setups up to quite complex ones. Using almost every feature and (im)possibilities. But restart performance was never an issue, neither for me nor for my customers. Let it compile 30 or even more seconds, the activating is still fast enough and traffic is not affected during compile time. I know some commercial products that perform worse... It works for me as it is. And this very well. Thanks Tom for this nice project. Alex ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
