Well trouble in paradise - I had to reboot this morning and it is back. I
had put this into /etc/network/interfaces

iface eth0 inet dhcp
post-up ethtool -K eth0 gro off

and tested it yesterday right after my success by restarting networking.

After the reboot, though, even though that got executed and the value
appears correct, it is still slow until I set TC_ENABLED=No

root@userver:/etc/shorewall# ethtool -k eth0 | grep offload
tcp-segmentation-offload: off
udp-fragmentation-offload: off [fixed]
generic-segmentation-offload: off [requested on]
generic-receive-offload: off
large-receive-offload: off [fixed]
rx-vlan-offload: on
tx-vlan-offload: on

Do I need to get into the bursting config from FAQ 97? Or something else?
