Exactly; the packet going out from wrong interface (ppp1) also has  wrong IP 
address (ppp1).

When packets are sent via the wrong interface, do they also have the wrong 
source IP? For example, if a packet you want to be sent out of
ppp1 is sent via ppp0, is its source IP address that of ppp1 or ppp0?
