OK.  My memory must be starting to go :-)

When I looked at the dependecies, I looked for the version currently in
Debian stable (4.5.5.3).  Apparently, at some point after that version
we had this discussion, because when I checked in git, I have both of
the -lite packages depending on the appropriately versioned
shorewall-core package and I have -init depending on any of the firewall
packages: "shorewall | shorewall6 | shorewall-lite | shorewall6-lite"

So, it appears that all is in order for the Debian packages.
