Sorry to hear about this situation.  This is definitely not a problem anyone
wants to have.

It looks like the files are filed with garbage.  There must have been some
kind of import error, which we can explore later.

First and foremost though, if you haven't done anything to the SD card (i.e.
written new photos to it) it's possible you can still restore the "deleted"
images.  There is software available for this very purpose.
