PS. I've installed Ubuntu 12.04 as a virtual machine, and now have access to Shotwell on my Mac. I think what I have to do now is make a copy of the database from my existing installation and drop it into the corresponding location on my Mac. Once I've done that, I think Shotwell will complain about missing files, but if I copy all the image files in their existing structure into a directory on my Mac, I think I should be able to get it to recognise them in their new home. Is there anything else I should be worrying about?
