Hi Thomas, On behalf of the team here, I'm sorry you're encountering this. This is actually quite curious; it doesn't sound quite like anything we've ever had reported.
Looking at the line in the error message, it looks like the video thumbnailer is producing invalid image data somehow, although why this might be the case is a mystery. Are you seeing it with all videos, or just videos of a certain format? Also, just for completeness' sake, what GStreamer plugins packages (if any) do you have installed?
