That is the same type of videos that I've had problems with (with the grey thumbnails, see my thread with subject "[Shotwell] Re-create certain thumbnail").
I have added the gstreamer ppa (ppa:gstreamer-developers/ppa) and got upgraded to 1.0.8-1~ubuntu13.04.1~ppa1. How can I delete these bad thumbnails and re-create them? I have ~ 25k objects in my db and would like to avoid to re-create for all of them.
