Same for me (German). Updated shr-settings recently.

This is not sufficient. Why does one perform the xgettext call manually and
not via e.g. a Makefile?

There are a few options missing (e.g. --add-comments=TRANSLATORS: for
xgettext, --previous to msgmerge) which I want to change but where?

A few strings are even in shr-settings still not translateable, e.g.
timeout settings: "Idle Prelock", "Idle Dim", SIM information: "imsi",
"dial prefix", ...

Why are generated *.mo files committed?

Another question: Is it possible to automatically translate all required
translations for a language, preferably via a opkg package? I currently use
a script but this is not user friendly:

# install missing translations:
> opkg list_installed | cut -d" " -f1 > packages-installed
# available translations
> opkg list | cut -d" " -f1 | grep -- -locale-de | sed 's/-locale-de//' >
> packages-de

for i in $(cat packages-de); do if grep $i packages-installed > /dev/null;
then grep "${i}-locale-de" packages-installed >
/dev/null || echo "${i}-locale-de"; fi; done > packages-de-missing

opkg install $(cat packages-de-missing)
