I would recommend you using autotools to build your projects/apps. It can
seem a bit more difficult to set up at start, but once you are done and your
project is useful and has more features, you and other people will thank you
for using autotools ;)

If you are interested, you can reuse the configure.in and Makefile.am files
from a Vala+efl project I have:
