it turned out after some time of debugging that not only the IP addrs
have changed to the new 192.168.7.[1|2] pair, but also the USB Vendor
and Product ID presented by SHR have now changed to 0x0525:0xa4a2;

(those ID are used in FreeBSD in the devd(8) hook scripts to do some work,
like bring up an interface or assign IP addrs);

I changed that, rebooted the FR and now USB network is fine on plug-in;
maybe the FR disabled usb0 itself while it was not working on the other
side;
