I have compiled dfu-util 0.5 from the sources; this went streight away
with:

$ USB_CFLAGS=" " USB_LIBS="-lusb" ./configure
$ make

but the resulting dfu-util somehow does not work (while the 0.1 version
works fine on the same host and the same Freerunner):

# ~guru/dfu-util-0.5/src/dfu-util -d 0x1d50:0x5119 -a rootfs -R -D
shr-image-om-gta02-20120413222611.rootfs.jffs2
dfu-util 0.5

(C) 2010-2011 Tormod Volden (DfuSe support)
This program is Free Software and has ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY

dfu-util does currently only support DFU version 1.0

Filter on vendor = 0x1d50 product = 0x5119
Opening DFU USB device... ID 1d50:5119
Run-time device DFU version 0100

No such Alternate Setting: "rootfs"

as well using "6" for "rootfs" does not work...

I have to think now how I could bring shr-046 to the SD card; I have no
Linux to create there this special ext3 fs :-(

Could someone create an image file for a 512 MByte SD card with an empty
ext3fs which I could just copy with dd(1) to the card?

Thanks
