that is strange, my old version is from October 2009. unfortunately i cannot
test the eduroam connection again and send some logs, because i am not
around my university for the next days. but i know that it worked back then
and the logs were saying it was using openssl (if i remember correctly).

do you know how i can test if my version is using openssl without connecting
and looking at the logs?
