IIRC acceptable values for sd_drive are 0-3 but it's a long time since I used 
it. Setting it from an init script rather than as a boot parameter shouldn't 
be a problem unless the crash happens before the script runs, which is 
unlikely if you're booting from NAND.

Excessive sd drive strength could cause problems getting a gps first fix if sd 
is active. This is less of a problem if you have the cap on the sd clock line 
which is probably the case for all but early A5s.
