My Kingston 4GB doesn't work reliably either, but Class 2 8GB Sandisk is fine. 
The Wiki has a page full of cards reported to be fine or problematic, so it's 
hardly a gamble to get a known-working card. It would be nice if my 4GB card 
would work, but I have higher priorities.

It's not going to be an easy bug to fix as the subset of kernel devs with 
access to Glamo documentation is small, and the bug unpredictable.
