Hi

After flashing SHR-U yesterday, the xserver doesnt boot anymore.
opkg updated & upgraded, no luck. flashed again
a couple of times, reboot a couple of times, no luck.

Strange, you have those problems even with fresh image after reflash?
just for test I reflashed with:
shr-lite-eglibc-ipk--20100507-om-gta02.rootfs.ubi
and Xorg is running fine

Actually I was using "lite-om-gta02.jffs2", last saturday.
I never know which files to download; I thought these
were the same release. But the boot screen is different,
ao. So perhaps they're not.

I should have mentioned I usually did a few things after
the first boot (which always worked fine). I set up
updated, upgraded, set up wifi, installed Bash, Thone,
and .. Zhone.

And it looks Zhone was the bad guy.

I now used "shr-lite-eglibc-ipk--20100507-om-gta02.rootfs.jffs2";
did the same, got the same problem, so

you can "debug" Xsession scripts by starting only Xorg

Clear as crystal ! Here we go:

> r...@om-gta02 ~ # /usr/bin/Xorg -br -pn -dpi 280 -nocursor
> (next terminal)
r...@om-gta02 ~ # cd /etc/X11/Xsession.d/
r...@om-gta02 /etc/X11/Xsession.d # . ./60xXDefaults r...@om-gta02 /etc/X11/Xsession.d # . ./80phoneuid r...@om-gta02 /etc/X11/Xsession.d # 2010-05-10T11:41:50.051470Z [INFO] phoneuid : Binary launched successful (FsoFrameworkStdErrLogger created as theLogger)
Log file: /var/log/phoneuid.log
Log level: INFO
r...@om-gta02 /etc/X11/Xsession.d # . ./80zhone 937: old priority 0, new priority -3
Connection to 192.168.0.202 closed.

dead.

opkg remove zhone; reboot; all fine!

woohee!
